The Apprentice construction

So we know they can play songs and talk between them, but how will our presenters cope when we give them a real job?! We’re sending them to Stoke on Trent college to try out some of the fab courses on offer and find out….

This month, Perry is taking on Louise. They are visiting the Construction department and are each being challenged to build a wall! But who will do the best job……

The construction department at Stoke on Trent college has been running construction based courses for over 30 years and so has built up fantastic links with local and national employers.

The dedicated John Seddon Building Technology Centre is amongst the best of its type in the UK offering industry standard training with tutors from industry, PLUS 2 ‘nu build’ off site manufactured eco houses.

Full time include Bricklaying, Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery

Part time – short intro courses to longer qualifications covering subjects such as Joinery, Painting and Decorating, Bricklaying, Construction

And a wide range of apprenticeship opportunities.
