Louis Tomlinson speaks for the first time about his Mother's death!

Louis Tomlinson has bravely spoken for the first time about his Mother's passing.

Johannah sadly died before Christmas as Louis prepared to perform his debut solo single 'Just Hold On' on the X Factor.

Speaking on US radio, Louis revealed that his Mother's death made him want to 'throw the towel in'

"But it was my mum who said to me that I've just got to keep going, telling me very sternly that she wanted me to [keep going]."

Louis has had support from his millions of fans and One Direction bandmates, including Zayn who he has re-united with after a rumoured feud following Zayn quit the band.

Speaking about what it's like to hear Zayn's songs on the radio, Louis said “It’s a strange feeling but it’s nice…His first song was an absolute smash and a great song. It’s nice,”

He added, “I think a lot of us have spoken recently. Me and Zayn have spoken recently. I think we’ve got to a point now where you can just really be happy for each other. Things have happened in the past of course…but yeah, it’s great.”
