Ed Sheeran defends his Glastonbury set after criticism
Ed Sheeran has taken to twitter to defend himself after viewers of his Glastonbury set claimed he was using backing tracks and miming!
Even before he was signed to a record label, Ed toured the country relentlessly with a guitar and his loop pedal which enables him to record backing guitar and vocals and replay the samples throughout his performance.
Twitter was full of confused Glastonbury viewers who believed the singer was getting a lot of help from backing tracks whilst headlining the Pyramid stage on Sunday evening.
Why is Ed Sheeran miming playing a guitar to a backing track. #Glastonbury— Fanxxxxtastic-Trada (@Fanxxxxtastic) June 25, 2017
Having seen the reaction online, Ed used Twitter to clarify the situation and instructed people to use a certain search engine to educate themselves!
Never thought I'd have to explain it, but everything I do in my live show is live, it's a loop station, not a backing track. Please google x— Ed Sheeran (@edsheeran) June 26, 2017
