Cheryl: "Woman shouldn't have to sexualise themselves"
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has hit out at the music industry and said that woman "shouldn't have to sexualise themselves to sell music".
Cheryl, who has had 5 solo UK number 1 singles, admitted that she doesn't have a problem with woman showing off their sexuality but some artists are doing it for the wrong reasons.
"The music industry is dominated by men behind the scenes. And older men, too." she told Daily Telegraph.
She went on to say, "If you're dressing sexy, there's a way to do it. If you are going to be explicit with your lyrics, dress differently. It's a bit much at the moment, I feel".
Cheryl's latest single 'Only Human' only managed to reach number 70 in the UK charts.
