The London Symphony Orchestra has agreed to collaborate with hip-hop group Cypress Hill to recreate a Simpsons parody.
The classic TV cartoon aired an episode 21 years ago showing the US band inadvertently playing Insane In The Brain with the orchestra.
In the episode, Homer joins the fictional travelling music festival Hullabalooza and a roadie asks the travelling bands if any of them hired the classical music ensemble.
"Did somebody order the London Symphony Orchestra? Possibly while high? Cypress Hill, I'm looking in your direction," he asks.
The band then agrees to play with the orchestra their hit single.
"Do you know Insane In The Brain?," they ask the conductor.
"We mostly know classical, but we can give it a shot," he answers.
Earlier this month, the group tweeted a picture from the episode, remembering their Simpsons appearance.
On Tuesday, the orchestra's Twitter account replied to the band, writing: "We mostly play classical... but we'll give it a shot."
"Let's make something happen for real," the band replied, to an emphatic "YES" from the orchestra.
"It would be amazing to work on something with you!," they said.
After fans expressed their excitement online, the orchestra replied saying: "Our 'people' are talking".
"That Simpsons episode was 20 years ago, so it's about time!," they added.
Gareth Davies, the orchestra's principal flute player, entered the discussion assuring the group he knew their hit track Insane In the Brain.
