Port Vale defender Leon Legge has started an online blog about living with epilepsy.
The Valiant's captain has spoken openly in recent years about how it has affected him, and his career.
He says he has started Epilepsy Baller to help people understand the condition, and break the stigma attached to it.
As an ambassador for the Young Epilepsy Foundation he says one of his roles is to help spread awareness through social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
But he says he has recently felt that he wanted to do more.
The 34-year-old has already written in the blog about his personal experiences of having seizures, and about the medication he takes - and the side effects that comes with them.
The Blog has only been going for a week and i didn’t think i could’ve never imagined this kind of response! pic.twitter.com/ZokGXEKjzX— Epilepsy Baller💜⚽️ (@leonlegge32) February 3, 2020
Writing on Twitter, Legge says hundreds of people from around the world have already been reading his articles.
