Two charged after drugs worth £100k seized from car on M6

Two men from Kent have been charged with drugs offences after the car they were in was stopped on the M6 in Staffordshire.

Officers from the Central Motorway Policing Group stopped the Audi A3 at Hilton Services on the southbound M6 at around 11am yesterday (11 July).

Heroin and crack cocaine, described as having 'a street value well in excess of £100,000' was found following a search of the vehicle.

Two men, aged 38 and 40, and both from Ramsgate, have been charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.

Both are due to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court today.
