Two arrested after drugs and suspected stolen bikes seized

Police investigating after a bike was stolen during a burglary in Stafford have made two arrests.

Officers carrying out enquiries uncovered other suspected stolen bikes and drugs at an address on New Street at around 5.30pm yesterday (13 June). 

Further searches of the premises uncovered deals of crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis, along with mobile phones, a lock knife, drugs paraphernalia and cash. 

A 19-year-old woman from Stafford was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply. She has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries. 

A 20-year-old man from Stafford was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and theft, and at this time he remains in custody.
