Two arrested after car reportedly damaged by knives and hammers

A man and a teenage boy have been arrested following reports of a car being damaged in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to Chaplin Road in Normacot at 6pm yesterday (12 February) to reports that hammers and knives were being used to cause criminal damage.

A 20-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 15-year-old boy, also from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of affray, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.

Both males remain in custody.
