A teenager has been stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.
The 17 year-old was found at the junction of Boughey Road and Ashford Street in Shelton, just before 5pm yesterday (7 November).
He suffered three stab wounds to his chest, abdomen and groin in the attack.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Royal Stoke Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Police remain at the scene, which has been cordoned off to allow forensic investigations to continue.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Any witnesses or anyone with information that could help our investigation is asked to call 101 and quote incident number 512 of 7 November. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
