Teen charged over Stoke-on-Trent stabbing

A teenager has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent last month.

Emergency services were called to Peascroft Road in Norton on 20 September, where a 24-year-old man was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

A 16-year-old from the Norton area, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with wounding a man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm.

He is also charged with possessing a blade or sharp pointed article in public.
