'Storm Ciara' It is also causing problems across Staffordshire and Cheshire with a number of roads blocked. 

The A500 D-Road northbound exit slip road is closed due to flooding at A527 (Tunstall / Kidsgrove turn off). 
 

The A520 Leek Road in both directions is closed due to emergency power line repairs from Wall Lane Terrace to East Drive.

Park Lane in both directions is closed due to fallen power cables from A527 Tunstall Road (Knypersley traffic lights) to Crowborough Road. 

Hilderstone Road in both directions closed, very slow traffic due to fallen tree and flooding at Fulford Road.

The A53 Leek New Road in both directions just passable, queuing traffic due to flooding near the Horn and Trumpet pub.

A34 Talke Road Northbound just passable, queuing traffic due to flooding at A500 D Road (Talke Roundabout).

Chelford Road closed due to fallen tree between Hallgreen Lane and A54 Holmes Chapel Road.
