Six men are due in court in Crewe, after being charged in connection with burglaries at pubs, restaurants, and shops.
It follows an investigation into offences in Staffordshire and Cheshire, as well as Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria, North Wales, Dyfed Powys and West Mercia - as well as two residential burglaries and a number of thefts from motor vehicles.
The men - aged 19, 22, 24, 33, 42 and 45 - were arrested yesterday (7 November) after officers from Cheshire Constabulary executed warrants at seven at addresses in Wirral with support from Merseyside Police and the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit.
They have subsequently been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
The men have all been remanded in police custody and are due to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court today 8 November.
