Police in Staffordshire are continuing to appeal for the public's help to find a missing Stone man.
Joshua Smith, was last seen on CCTV at the crossroads of Lichfield Road and Uttoxeter Road on Tuesday morning.
The 27 year-old, who is from the Aston area, is described as white, of thin build, 5ft 10ins tall with blue eyes. He has light-coloured hair which is longer on top, a bushy beard and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a black three-quarter length coat, black work boots and a mustard backpack.
Detective Inspector Nicki Furlong, from the Force Safeguarding and Investigations department, said: "Josh hasn't been seen for five days now and we are very concerned for his wellbeing.
"Numerous areas have been searched and we have received some information of potential sightings of Josh, however, these are unconfirmed and at this time we have still found nothing to narrow down where Josh could be.
"We know that Josh loves the countryside and nature, and therefore we think there is a strong possibility that he could have walked to a rural location.
“Staffordshire Police and Josh’s family would like to thank everyone who has been involved in helping to search for Josh to date.
"There is some suggestion Josh has taken a harmful substance and if found we ask that emergency medical attention is sought for him via 999. Due to the potential risk of substance transfer we ask that as a precaution no direct physical contact is made with Josh.
"If you have any information on Josh's whereabouts please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 639 of October 25."
