Police called to report of pellet shot at school building

Parents at a Stoke-on-Trent school are being reassured, after police were called to reports of a pellet being shot at the building.

Officers were called to St Maria Goretti Catholic Academy on Aylesbury Road in Bentilee at 9.30am on Tuesday (25 February).

Police say no one was hurt during the incident.

They say anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 135 of February 25, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
