A woman in Stoke-on-Trent is set to open a soup kitchen for the homeless later this month in Newcastle.
Monira Satir, set up Staffordshire Advisory Team In Reach just over twelve months ago to help families on low incomes.
They can get food parcels, advice and support and find out what they are entitled to.
Monira, who is orginally from Bangladesh, says the charity has been overwhelmed by the number of people who have been in for help.
She has raised funds through a number of social events and activities.
