A murder investigation is underway, following the discovery of two bodies in Stoke-on-Trent.
The body of a man in his 50s was found near the allotments on Leonora Street in Burslem at 1:20pm yesterday (11 October).
Officers completing follow-up enquiries then discovered the body of a man in his late teens at an address in Barnfield Road at around 3:50pm.
Detectives remain at Barnfield Road today, working with forensics teams to establish the circumstances of the two deaths.
Detective Chief Inspector Jason Everett, senior investigating officer for Staffordshire Police, said: "I would like to reassure the local community that we are not looking for anyone else in this investigation and there is no threat to members of the public.
"Neighbourhood officers will be providing a visible reassurance in the area, so please raise any concerns or share any information you have with them.
"My team of detectives are working very hard to support those affected and to investigate the series of events that led to these two deaths.
"If you know anything about the deaths or have CCTV footage in the local area that might help, please contact 101 quoting incident number 378 of 11 October.

The post-mortems on both bodies will be completed today and formal identification for both men has not yet taken place.
