Multiple collisions in Stafford

Police are advising drivers to take extra care on the roads following several collisions across the Stafford area.

Since 7am officers have been called to:

  • A damage-only collision on Dickys Lane, Woodseaves, involving a Vauxhall Astra. No injury.
  • A Jeep in collision with a fence on Yarnfield Lane, Stone. No injury.
  • A one-vehicle collision on Meece Road, Yarnfield, involving a blue Ford Fiesta. A further collision at the same location involving a silver Clio.
  • On Swynnerton Road at Swynnerton a Toyota Igo has come off the road.
  • A silver Jaguar is on its roof at Chebsey in Stafford.
  • At Swynnerton Road, Cold Meece, a Jeep has left the road.
  • On the A519 Woodseaves Road the road was blocked due to a collision involving a truck and a car.

Officers say they believe the incidents were down to frosty weather hampering driving conditions, and fortunately there appears to be no serious injuries.
