More community nurses needed in Staffordshire

More community nurses are being recruited to work in Staffordshire.

A recruitment event is being held in Stafford today by Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust, which provides community health and social care across the county and community health services in Stoke-on-Trent.

Trained and experienced nurses are invited to the open day at Greyfriars Therapy Centre where they can apply and be interviewed for community nursing jobs on the spot.

The event is taking place 10am-3pm at the Greyfriars Therapy Centre on Frank Foley Way.

Julie Tanner, Director of Workforce and Development said; “Our recruitment open day is a great opportunity for nurses to find out more about the community nursing opportunities that are available in Staffordshire, and how we can develop and support your nursing career.

“People are often surprised by the care which our community nursing teams provide in people’s homes. So I would encourage anyone who is interested to come along, meet the team and find out more about what we can offer you. As an integrated Trust our teams also work alongside social care staff and gain a range of skills and experiences through this multidisciplinary working.”
