Man charged with motoring offences following Crewe crash

A man has been charged with multiple driving offences after a crash in Crewe.

A car collided with a telegraph pole on Stoneley Road yesterday afternoon (3 July), leaving a 27-year-old female passenger with minor injuries.

She was taken to hospital via an ambulance.

A 23-year-old man was arrested.

He has now been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He has been released on unconditional bail and is set to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 18 July.
