A man has been detained on suspicion of arson after a fire ripped through a mental health facility in Staffordshire.
The 43-year-old was held as more than thirty firefighters tackled the severe blaze which broke out at the George Bryan Medical Centre in Tamworth last night.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 9.15pm this evening (Monday) to the centre on Plantation Lane, Mile Oak."
"There are no reported casualties. All occupants and staff have been evacuated from the centre and are being transferred to other local medical centres."
