A man has been arrested after a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Hanford.
At about 7.20am this morning a white
Toyota vehicle collided with the 70 year old man from Stoke on the A34 Stone Road,
approximately 50m from the roundabout at Hanford.
He was taken to the University
Hospital of North Staffordshire where he remains in a serious, but stable
condition with a head injury, a fractured hand and a suspected hip injury.

The vehicle was located in Brendale Close, Hanford, and will now be subject to a
detailed forensic examination.

28-year-old man from Longton has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous
