A Stoke on Trent College lecturer is celebrating winning the Stafford Half for a fifth time.
Rebecca Harrison, who is a member of Cheddleton Running Club, ran yesterday's women's race with the number 1.
She came top with a finishing time of 1 hour, 25 minutes and 57 seconds.
She has equalled Christine Kilkenny's record for the number of wins.
Rebecca was delighted with her result in her first major race of the season. “It was an exhilarating feeling to win in my own county.
"Thank you to the team at Cole’s who have kept my body conditioned to enable me to continue doing what I love and enabled me to win – I am extremely lucky to have such great support!"
The men's race was won by Jordan Weaver.
