Image released after man exposes himself to teen

14 year old targeted on train

Officers from British Transport Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to (pictured) following an incident on a train between Stafford and Liverpool Lime Street.

At around 9pm on Wednesday, 4 April, a 14-year-old girl was travelling on the train when the man she was sitting next to exposed himself to her.

PC Rahim Ithnin said: "The girl was minding her own business when she noticed the man sat next to her had exposed himself.

"Though he made no move towards her, or threatened her in any way, the girl felt extremely uncomfortable and we now need to locate the man before he does this again.”

"I have now released the CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to in connection with the incident as I believe he may have vital information.”
