House where four children were killed in a fire is being demolished

A house where four children died earlier this year in Stafford is being demolished.

A notice has gone up at the property in Sycamore Lane saying the building is being knocked down.

Riley Holt, aged eight, Keegan Unitt, aged six, Tilly Rose Unitt, aged four, and Olly Unitt, aged three, died in the blaze in the Highfields are of the town in the early hours of Tuesday 5 February.

Police still haven't revealed what caused the blaze.

A 25-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence following the fire.

They were released under investigation while enquiries continue.

The notice says work to clear the house, which is owned by Stafford and Rural Homes, is expected to start on June 10.
