Glass bottle attack in Stoke

A man has had to have stitches to his face after being attacked with a glass bottle in Stoke.

The 25 year old was walking home through the town centre behind two males at about 3.20am on Saturday, when just opposite The Talbot pub on Church Street one of the men turned round and threw a glass bottle. 

The offender is described as being of mixed race, aged in his mid/late 20’s, 6ft tall and well built.

He had short, dark, shaved hair and was wearing a light-coloured t-shirt/top.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or recognises the description of the offender, is asked to contact DC Stuart Pearson at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 105 of April 27, or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
