A man and woman were treated for potentially serious injuries after a fire at a property in part of Stoke-on-Trent yesterday morning.
Over 20 firefighters tackled the blaze in what's believed to be a recording studio on Oxford Street in Penkhull at just after 5.40am.
Some eye-witnesses say flames could be seen from the A500.
An ambulance service spokesperson said: "We were called by the fire service at 5.47am on Sunday to a fire on Oxford Street in Penkhull.
"Four ambulances, three paramedic officers and a BASICS doctor attended the scene. On arrival crews were presented with four patients.
"We treated a man and woman for potentially serious injuries before taking them on blue lights and sirens to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment. Crews treated the other two patients, both men, for smoke inhalation before taking them to the Royal Stoke as well."
