Five people have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 17-year-old in Stoke-on-Trent.
The teenager suffered stab wounds to his chest, abdomen and groin in the incident at the junction of Boughey Road and Ashford Street in Shelton on Tuesday (7 November).
He remains in Royal Stoke University Hospital, where his condition is described as stable.
Five males from the Stoke-on-Trent area were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Two 17-year-olds and a 19-year-old have been released under investigation, while a 17 and 22-year-old remain in police custody.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We would urge anyone with information to call us on 101 quoting incident 512 of 7 November."
