Firefighters called to deliberate grass fires in Crewe

Firefighters in Crewe say they have responded to two grass fires in Crewe in less than an hour.

The first report involving involving smouldering grass on land off Henry Street came in at 11:43am today (17 July).

They were called out again to the same location at 12:41pm.

It is believed that the fires may have been started deliberately.

Cheshire Police have been informed.
