People living in Staffordshire are being asked to share their experiences of accessing GP appointments in the evenings and at weekends.
Since being introduced in September 2018, appointments can now booked on weekend mornings and from 6.30pm to 8pm on weekdays, in addition to the usual hours of 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
Dr Paddy Hannigan, Clinical Chair of Stafford and Surrounds CCG said: “We all have busy lives and visiting our GP during work hours isn’t always convenient for everyone. So, we have made these changes to give people more flexibility if they need to see their GP.
“What we need to know is how you are making use of these extra appointments. We have built a survey to collect feedback about the extended appointments on weekday evenings and weekend mornings.
“I would urge everyone in the area who has booked an extended hours appointment with a GP in the past few months to fill it out. We want to make sure that we are serving the people of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent as best as we can.”
The survey will be available until 11pm on Sunday (16 June).
