Police have made several arrests as part of a day of action by officers in Blurton.
Drugs warrants were executed at properties on Ripon Road, where a 27-year-old man and a 48-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
Another address was raided with a sizeable quantity of drugs seized.
On Elm Place, a 24-year old was also arrested on suspicion of disqualified driving.
Chief Inspector Karen Stevenson, Commander for Stoke South Local Policing Team said: “Blurton residents have highlighted on-going concerns within their community and so our Day of Action has given us the opportunity to target the area for persons currently wanted and to carry out drugs and road traffic operations leading to several arrests.
“In addition, officers have been linking in with the local housing team to look at tenancy enforcement and general community issues and our locals PCSOs have been manning the mobile policing unit on site.
“The day has proven to be a real success and we hope to run similar initiatives in the future. If you are concerned about drugs or criminality in your neighbourhood, report it to us by calling 101.”
