A North Staffordshire charity is highlighting domestic violence during Euro 2012.
Arch say they have already had a 50 per-cent increase in calls compared to the same period last year.
There were more than 500 incidents of domestic violence in Stoke-On-Trent and Newcastle between April and October last year.
Two women died a week at the hands of partners.
Figures show, during the last major tournament the World Cup, incidents of domestic violence were up 30 per-cent.
