CCTV appeal after Stoke shop worker injured during robbery

Police investigating a robbery in Stoke have released a CCTV still image of a man they would like to talk to. 

A man wearing a face covering went into S-Mart mini market on Liverpool Road at about 6pm on Saturday 20 July 2019.

He threatened the shop assistant and struck him on the hand with a blunt instrument, leaving him with a serious injury.

He was then able to open up the till and steal the contents. He also took a quantity of cigarettes.

The man is believed to have left the area with two other men. All three had their faces covered.
