People interested in where-they-live are being urged to get involved with The Big Community Conversation at Staffordshire University later.
Organised by the Centre for Health and Development (CHAD), it is taking place at the LRV on the Leek Road campus.
The event is aimed at building on the very successful Big Community Conversation 2017 and will provide an opportunity for local people to share their stories about what their community means to them, and what they do in their community to make it better.
The Big Community conversation has been developed in partnership between CHAD, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire University, 1,000 lives and a range of voluntary sector organisations.
It will run from 12pm until 5pm and will have a comprehensive selection of community-based exhibitors, learning and sharing zones, funding advice and support, activities and demonstrations and awards for people nominated as community champions through the 1,000 lives.
