A Staffordshire artist is using her work to raise awareness of serious mental health conditions.
Erica Crompton from Newcastle, who has sought treatment for psychosis, has designed a window display on the theme for the Mind Charity shop in Stoke-on-Trent.
The talented student suffered a breakdown at the age of 22 and says she wants people to feel more comfortable discussing mental health issues.
Erica is studying towards a degree in fine art. She says she wanted the display to be colourful and festive to contrast 'greying' stereotypes of the 4 people in 100 that are diagnosed with psychosis conditions.
She's also hoping the multimedia installation will later be sold and some of the proceeds donated to the charity.
