£218,000 worth of clothing stolen from lorry in Newcastle

Staffordshire Police are asking people to tell them if they have been offered brand new New Look clothes at discounted prices.

Its after 418 boxes of New Look clothes were stolen from an HGV sometime between 7pm on Sunday 23rd October and 7am on Monday 24th October, on Spencroft Road in Lymedale Business Park in Newcastle .

The lorry was broken into by forcing the lock off the rear doors. 

The value of clothes taken is estimated to be in excess of £218,000.

Anyone with any information, maybe having seen the theft in progress or who has been offered discounted New Look clothing is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
