There is some great news for Port Vale fans.
Goalkeeper Scott Brown has signed a one year contract extension.
The deal keeps the stopper at the club until 2021.
Brown swept the board at the Player of the Year Awards picking up four accolades after an impressive first season at Vale Park in which so far he has kept sixteen clean sheets.
Manager John Askey says the club would not have survived in the league without him especially his penalty save against Mansfield, a game which the Valiants eventually went on to win.
Askey said: "It's a massive boost for the club and I'm so pleased that we've been able to tie him down for another year after the season he's had where he could've quite easily moved on elsewhere.
"He's been outstanding since I arrived at the club. His professionalism on and off the pitch is admirable and it's like I said, we would've been in deep trouble this season without him.
"It's a real big positive and hopefully this is just the start of sorting out contracts for certain players."
