Vale stopper on new deal and manager on season

Port Vale goalkeeper Scott Brown says he had no hesitation in signing a new deal at the club.

The club's Player of the Year has penned a one year contract extension keeping him at Vale Park until 2021.

He has kept 16 clean sheets so far this season going into the final game of the campaign at Bury.

The Vale have called up youngster Lucas Green-Birch for the final game of the season.

The 18-year-old has impressed manager John Askey.
