Port Vale have signed up trialist Johnny Maddison.
The ex-Sunderland, Leicester, Yeovil and Darlington goalkeeper has spent several weeks training with the Valiants, making appearances during some of their friendly games.
The 24-year-old will wear the number 30 shirt after penning a one year deal.

Manager John Askey says he's been impressed by what he's seen from the goalkeeper.
He told the club's official website: "He's come in and done quite well. He's fitted in with the rest of the lads and in the games he's done OK making one or two good saves and in training he's looked good.
"Jonny's got a great attitude and it's up to him now to try and push Scott Brown. We got to see more of him in Scotland on a day to day basis and like I said he fitted in well.
"He's a good size, a good shot stopper, he's got one or two things he needs to work on but working with Ronnie Sinclair I'm sure it'll improve him."
