Port Vale have signed Adam Crookes on loan for the rest of the season from Nottingham Forest.
The 21 year old has spent the start of this season on loan at League Two table toppers Lincoln City, making five appearances.
Adam, who can play either left full back or centre back, signed for Forest at just eight years old, and made his first loan move to Guisley two years ago where he made 15 appearances.
Manager Neil Aspin is pleased to have been able to snap up the young defender.
He has told the club's official website: "He's versatile and can play a few positions and he's left footed. A natural left footer in the defence is something we've not had and he'll compete for a place.
He was always someone that we wanted to bring in. He wants to play football, he's desperate to play and he'll play in the reserves tomorrow."
