Stoke boss on defeat at Derby

Stoke City four match unbeaten run in the league was ended as they were thumped 4-0 at Derby County.

Manager Michael O'Neill made one change going into the game with Josh Tymon making his first start under the new boss in place of Bruno Martins Indi who was ill.

The Rams scored twice in a three minute spell midway through the first half with Martyn Waghorn and Chris Martin on target.

Wayne Rooney then added a third, with a stunning free kick from the edge of the area.

Jayden Bogle then smashed one home from the edge of the box on 74 minutes to complete the scoring.

The result leaves the Potters in 20th place ahead of teams playing on Saturday.
