Stoke City have sacked manager Gary Rowett.
The club say they have terminated his contract.
Members of his immediate coaching staff have also left the bet365 stadium.
Rowett took over in May from Paul Lambert, and won just 9 of his 29 games in charge.
He leaves the Potters in 14th place in the Championship table, and 8 points off the play off spots.
In a statement, the club say they would like to thank Gary and his staff for their efforts over the past eight months.
It says a new managerial appointment will be made as 'swiftly as possible' but in the meantime Rory Delap, Kevin Russell and Andy Quy will take charge of first-team affairs.
