One of Stoke City's promising youngsters Lasse Sorensen has signed a new long term contract.
The 18-year-old Dane, broke into the first-team squad in the closing stages of last season and was handed his full debut on the final day as the Potters beat Swansea 2-1.
Stoke have rewarded him for his progress with a new deal and Sorensen is relishing the opportunity to develop his game alongside senior professionals.
He told the club's official website: “I’m really pleased that I’ve been given the opportunity to sign a new contract and I’m very grateful to the club.
“I’m really enjoying being part of the first-team squad. There are many big personalities within there and so many people for someone at my stage of my career to learn from.
“The senior pros are always coming to me with good advice – it’s a fantastic experience and I know I can learn from them.”
