Skipper Tom Pope was the hero as Port Vale booked their place in the third round of the FA Cup.
They came from behind to beat fellow League Two outfit Cheltenham 3-1.
Manager John Askey made three changes going into the game.
Pope, Tom Conlon and Rhys Browne came in from Richie Bennett, Scott Burgess and the suspended David Worrall.
The Vale got off to the worst possible start going a goal down after just three minutes.
Reuben Reid scored from the penalty spot after Cristian Montano had been penalised for a foul.
Reid, who was causing problems for the visitors then went off injured a minute after the restart.
The game swung in Vale's favour when Tom Pope equalised on the hour mark.
He then went on to score another two goals and complete an eight minute hat-trick to draw him level with Martin Foyle's goalscoring record at the club.
The Vale will find out their opponents in the third round draw on Monday night.
John Askey's side are back in action on Tuesday when they entertain Mansfield in the knockout stages of the Football League Trophy.
