Two Stoke City wingers are facing spells on the sidelines with knee ligament injuries.
James McClean is facing several weeks on the sidelines, while Thibaud Verlinden has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
McClean who has been in excellent form for the Potters recently, has a medial ligament injury.
The Irishman had scored in the clubs last two home games prior to last night’s 2-0 reverse against Preston.
He’s weighed in with six league goals and has turned in some impressive performances since Michael O’Neill took over the reigns as manager.
Verlinden, who had to be withdrawn just five minutes after coming on as a substitute in last night’s game, has an ACL knee ligament injury.
It is another blow for the Belgium who returned from a loan spell from Bolton and had also impressed the manager.
