Britannia, which is part of The Co-operative Bank has teamed up with Signal Radio to bring you a whole host of exciting activities at the Leek Show on Saturday 28th July at Birchall Playing Fields.
The Leek Show is a celebration of local farming and agricultural life in Leek and the Staffordshire Moorlands. The Show appeals to everyone from farmers to families and there are lots if activities – dog display teams, shire horses, crafts, trade stands, cattle shows and even a horse shoe making competition!
This year the show celebrates its 50th anniversary and to mark the occasion Britannia is asking school children in Leek to write a poem about the show, what it has to offer and what it means to them or their family. Two children from each participating school will win a family ticket to the show and perhaps even get their winning entry published in the event programme.
As Britannia is a part of The Co-operative group of businesses there will be a dedicated area at this year’s Show which includes a red London bus with musical instruments, a Stoke City FC area to test out your skills as well as other activities and competitions to get involved in.
