David De Gea (Man Utd)
The Spanish stopper came under heavy criticism at the start of the season but showed his ever-growing confidence in United's 2-0 win over Blackburn with some remarkable saves
Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)
No matter where this guy slots into Chelsea's back line his contribution is phenomonal, and he certainly proved his attacking prowess with a crucial brace at the weekend
Mike Williamson (Newcastle)
This guy literally played Andy Carroll off the park at St. James', admittedly I thought he would be a weak signing at the start of the season but he's proved himself to be a solid Premier League player
Antolin Alcaraz (Wigan)
It's very rare that we have a Wigan defender in my team of the week but it's getting to be a regular occurance with Gary Caldwell's heroics last week, Antolin took it upon himself to earn the Latics back to back wins with his fine header against Stoke
Aleksandar Kolarov (Man City) Adel Taarabt (QPR)
City need cool heads at this time of the season and even after his mini spat with Mario Balotelli, the Serbian went on to earn his side a point with a fine strike
Antonio Valencia (Man Utd)
When the Reds needed a hero Antonio certainly stepped up. A phenomonal strike with 10 minutes to go freed up the pressue on United giving them the confidence to get a 2nd
This guy seems to have taken a long time to settle into the Premier League but he's finally bagged a goal worthy of his potential, hopefully he can string a run of form together and save the R's from relegation
Victor Moses (Wigan)
Have Wigan finally replaced Charles N'zogbia? Moses put in a sparkling performance against the Potters completing the game with a goal under his belt
Papiss Cisse (Newcastle)
He just can't stop scoring goals, a fantastic coup from Alan Pardew to bring this lad in and help Demba Ba up top
Emmanuel Adebayor (Tottenham)
A late brace from the Togolese international secured a vital win for Spurs in their battle for a European spot
Mario Balotelli (Man City)
Mario went from superb to ridiculous once more, his 2 goals were cooly taken but again he put a downer on his performance with his spat with Kolarov
Did you know that the Italian has scored a goal every 94 minutes this season.
