Unisons urging members to reconsider

Unison members at Cheshire West and Chester Council are taking industrial action over staff terms and conditions.

The union's organised a protest outside its offices in Winsford tonight as councillors gather for a meeting.

They're angry that some workers have seen extra pay for weekend, night and evenings cut.

The authority says 100% of staff have now signed up to the new terms and conditions, and they've been necessary to bring everyone into line.
