Woman injured after motorbike collides with mobility scooter

Police say they are looking for a motocross bike rider who failed to stop after colliding with a woman on a mobility scooter in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers say the incident happened on Dawlish Drive in Bentilee at around 3.20pm yesterday, and the male rider had swerved to try and avoid the woman but failed.

He left the scene, heading in the Hanley direction.

The woman was not seriously injured, but was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.

The bike is described as was blue/black with white mud guards.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Tom Watson at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 527 of March 13, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
