Uttoxeter swimmer Adam Peaty says staying active and having fun outside with friends helped make him an Olympian.
The 22-year-old gold medal winner is highlighting the importance of youngsters getting exercise, ahead of the summer holidays.
He has teamed up with Sun-Pat to give families ideas of sports and activities they can get involved in.
It comes as Public Health England also highlights the importance of staying active for children's physical and mental wellbeing - with the number of youngsters getting enough physical activity dropping by 40% between ages of 5 and 12.
Peaty said: "I wouldn't be swimming now if it wasn't for me and my mates going down the local swimming pool and just playing on the inflatables and having fun.
"All that kind of fun stuff from the summer holidays built my career as a professional athlete."
